SACRAMENTO – The Bureau of Cannabis Handle (Bureau) announced these days that it has awarded equity grant funding to neighborhood jurisdictions to be made use of for industrial cannabis equity applications that concentrate on inclusion and help of persons or communities that have been negatively or disproportionately impacted by cannabis criminalization. The equity grant funding is authorized by the California Cannabis Equity Act of 2018 established by Senate Bill 1294 (Bradford 2018) and the Price range Act of 2019, Item 1111-490 – Reappropriation.

All qualifying neighborhood jurisdiction applicants that met the criteria and needs for grant funding received a minimum grant of $100,000. Fund awards have been determined primarily based on the system recommendations up to the quantity requested by the neighborhood jurisdiction.
