Verté Essentials Review
Verté Essentials: 60-Second Summary
As the creation of a certified yoga instructor and esthetician, it makes sense that Verte Essentials aims to offer products that are part-beauty counter, part-wellness cabinet. The company is a big believer in the idea that beauty is borne from within, and that instilling an inner healthful balance will radiate out. We’re also big believers, and we like a lot of what the brand has to say, though we wish they’d be a bit more specific about the results of their third-party lab test results.
Verté Essentials Brand Review
Verte Essentials was borne of the deep belief that every action should be made with intention, and that instilling those thoughtful deeds into an everyday practice will help create purpose.
It’s no surprise that the brand was the brainchild of a certified yoga instructor – Blair Lauren Brown, who says she wants to help spread her holistic philosophy on life and beauty through the cannabidiol-infused products, which are developed by esthetician Britt Davis.
Each CBD oil item up for offer is designed with a specific energetic experience in mind, ranging from the high-energy “elevate” line, to relaxing “restore”-themed products. Each theme comes with its own delicious-sounding proprietary blend of natural herbs and essential oils, such as blood orange, lemon zest, and coconut to induce a “rise” in energy; pepper and ylang ylang to inspire “focus”; chamomile and vanilla to help induce “flow”; chai-inspired pepper, ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon used to “elevate”; and rose, jasmin, and lavender to “restore.”
Users can also shop by “effect,” searching for products specifically catered to needs like “aches and pains,” “skin and beauty,” and “overall wellness.” And Verte Essentials has a wide-ranging store to cover those needs—and more. Products range from a line of “luxe” CBD oil-infused bath salts to a cannabidiol skincare line with everything from moisturizers to cleansers to a range of CBD oil tinctures and (kosher, vegan-friendly) capsules to a cannabidiol-based suppository.
Most products come in the range of aforementioned “experiences,” and prices vary from $20 to $78 for an individual product or up to $375 for a full kit of CBD-infused essential oils.
We’re not a big fan that some of their bath-related products utilize polysorbate-80, a natural emulsifier often treated with the noxious chemical ethylene oxide. And the company could do more to back up its claims of organically-produced cannabidiol with the presence of some third-party lab test results.
Despite that oversight, however, we must say that we enjoyed the Verte Essential experience.
Bottom line: We’re big believers of purpose and intention here at COR, and we love that Verte Essentials incorporates those principles into its core philosophy. The company also sources its products well, with its CBD oil coming from quality sources and very few unnatural ingredients making an appearance in its wide-ranging beauty and edibles lines. Still, no matter how much we admire the ethos of the brand, we simply can’t award our safety badge without seeing the numbers associated with third-party lab tests.
