A Hawai‘i cannabis legalization bill died when lawmakers didn’t think about it in time for a deadline on Friday, March 1, 2019.

According to an AP report, “the bill had to pass the Senate Well being Committee and Senate Strategies and Implies Committee” by today’s deadline so it could be thought of by the complete Senate.

But the Well being Committee did not schedule a meeting on Friday, March 1, to think about any bills, “effectively killing the marijuana legalization measure.”
