On January 31st, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (ACGO) stated legal cannabis shops in the province will be prohibited from providing on the internet retail alternatives to shoppers. This signifies that the initial 25 cannabis retailers in Ontario and the multitude of retailers that could open when the province lifts its short-term cap on retail licences will not be capable to supply shoppers on the internet ordering for shop pickup (click and gather). Nor will they be capable to supply any very same-day delivery solutions.
