Florida to challenge court ruling that would up healthcare cannabis dispensary caps



Florida regulators intend to challenge a state court ruling that would remove the limit on the quantity of dispensaries a healthcare marijuana company can operate.

Lifting the cap would advantage the state’s current MMJ operators. Trulieve filed the suit searching for to increase the quantity of allowable dispensaries.

The state well being department’s move to hold the line at least for now on dispensary limits comes as Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, is asking the Legislature to make other reforms that would open up Florida’s MMJ industry to extra company possibilities.
