For our family members, summer season signifies baseball games, exploring new cities, and living in a tiny apartment. My husband is a experienced baseball coach, and from April to August, the children and I leave our household in Texas to commit the summer season wherever he’s coaching that year. This is our third summer season in Visalia, California, the “gateway to the Sequoias.”
Visalia can get hot and dusty, but we like becoming in a position to escape to the mountains in below an hour, or to the beach in two. As a hub for agriculture, we can constantly obtain fresh strawberries, regional honey, and the really ideal garlic.
So far the climate has been beautiful, but heat is inevitably settling in, so we will be spending most of our time in the pool or in the air-conditioned library (our favored spot). When the days get extended, and the apartment feels even smaller sized than just before, there are a handful of items that I turn to.
This is what’s saving my life proper now.
