Pennsylvania Higher College Student In Important Situation Following Dispute More than Marijuana

A Delaware County teen is in intensive care following getting shot in the face, allegedly more than an ounce of cannabis.

The incident occurred close to the intersection of Rose Tree Lane and Glen Gary Drive in Havertown, Pennsylvania at about eight:17 p.m. on Tuesday.

“The victim arrived at that place with two other males, we think for a drug deal,” mentioned Chief John Viola in a statement Wednesday morning. “At some point, there was an altercation with the men and women he was supposed to meet there was two other men and women in that auto. At some point throughout that altercation, he was shot in the face.”

Chief Viola mentioned that all of the suspects took off operating, but law enforcement was in a position to determine some of them from different pieces of surveillance video that they had been in a position to receive from about the neighborhood.

WPHT reports that emergency personnel transported the victim, 18-year-old Haverford Higher College senior Marquis Mays, to an location hospital exactly where he is presently in essential situation.

Haverford Township Police have arrested a 17-year-old suspect, a classmate whom they think to be the shooter. Two other teens are also reported to be at the Division for questioning.
