TORONTO, Feb. 01, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Nutritional Higher International Inc., (the “Business” or “Nutritional Higher”) (CSE:Consume) (OTCQB:SPLIF) (FRANKFURT:2NU) reports that powerful February 1, 2019, the City of Sacramento Cannabis Policy &amp Enforcement (the “City”) has rescinded neighborhood authorization for cannabis manufacturing for Pasa Verde, LLC (“Pasa Verde”), a subsidiary of the Business.  Without having neighborhood authorization in location, the California Division of Public Wellness (the “State”) was expected to revoke Pasa Verde’s state short-term manufacturing license.  This does not in any way impact the licensing of the Company’s distribution operations below Calyx Brands (“Calyx”), the short-term-licensed cannabis distribution subsidiary of the Business and has minimal influence on Business operations.

Pasa Verde received approval for its developing permits from the City on January 16, 2019 and the develop-out of the FLI Labs NorCal facility will proceed as planned.  Additional, Calyx will continue distributing FLÏ&#x2122 solutions getting developed by other licensed cannabis companies in California.

Primarily based upon discussions with the City relating to its choice, the Business is moving forward with the develop-out and will apply for a new Organization Operating Permit (“BOP”) below a new subsidiary of the Business. We anticipate the BOP getting finalized prior to the completion of the develop-out.

Jim Frazier, CEO of Nutritional Higher, commented, “While we had hoped to preserve the neighborhood authorization at FLI Labs NorCal and safe the BOP early on in the develop-out period, this is a minor shift in our operations.  We appear forward to operating with the City on a new BOP, finishing the develop-out and moving forward with totally compliant manufacturing, production and packaging operations at scale in Sacramento.”
