Village Farms International, a Canadian greenhouse grower with a 50% stake in British Columbia-primarily based cannabis firm Pure Sunfarms Corp., has graduated to the Nasdaq exchange.

The business says it will leave the more than-the-counter markets – exactly where it trades as VFFIF – and list on the Nasdaq Capital Market place as VFF.

A date for the listing hasn’t been announced.

Village Farms also trades on Canada’s senior exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange, below the symbol VFF.

The business announced plans to enter the U.S. hemp industry in December, saying it will seek to convert a Texas greenhouse to hemp production.

The move would call for a transform in Texas law.

Village Farms has a industry cap of $366 million (CA$485 million).
